So for those of you that have been following my blog thanks for viewing my work! I'm closing this blog down and I'm changing my blog site to another site. Please keep on viewing my work, and thanks for the following of this site. I hope to have you follow my new site as well!
Like Applying to grad school dark.... jk Sorry, Guys I haven't been posting as much as I should, but mainly it's due to the fact that I moved to a different country and trying to find a job. I'm trying to keep up with my art, but it has been difficult. It sucks to only have enough time recently to do studies at the end of the night since, I have to visit so many people. But enough with the excuses. Here is a basic model that I painted over for a project I'm working on.
Any Critics would be awesome! Since I'm always trying to become better.
So recently I played a video game called death spank. It was a fun and witty type of game in which was something that appealed to my sense of humor. With that in mind I decided that I would create some development ideas for the game. Here's a idea for the taco shack.
For those of you that tons of time on your hands and like have a weird sense of humor I would suggest you to play this game!
Something that I've been trying to learn is to refine images up and yet have it loose.... one of my biggest challenges that I've had. So here is the refined and finished for this piece. Now I'm have to refine some others now. And of course critics are always welcome!
So I haven't posted in a while due to partly finishing my BFA senior project and also just being really bad at loading things up for my blog. To be honest I'm always kind of scared to put something up that isn't finish and usually that just leads to me not really putting things up at all... which is bad! So instead I'm putting up all the things that I haven't finished. These are the studies.
Here's another painting that I decided to work on! I know I could paint industrial things in flat shapes but I've never painted rocks with flat shapes. So I combined the two and it ended up a learning experience needless to say. Enjoy!
So I've been setting a new goal of trying to do at least one study everyday. Here some of the better ones from the month of march. Mainly I'm trying to improve my color senses. Some of them are from making of books, while others are made up from my head. Hopefully you can enjoy!
I usually don't ever do fan art, but this seemed like such a easy character to model out that I just had to try it out! This is the main character off of the show, Adventure time. It's a really random show that's really funny and stupid at the same time which is right up my alley.
I haven't put anything on this blog for a while so I decided to post something finally. So this isn't my best 3d modeling work, but this was quick. For my art history class we were suppose to build a cathedral and here it is. Many of it was symbolism and has supposedly meaning to it.
If you've been in Rexburg, you'll probably know where this is! So take a guess.
Here are a assignment for color & design 2, a class in which I'm sitting in. The idea was to have warm light/ cold shadows. And cold light/ cold shadows. Originally I was not planning on showing this, but thanks to Nafah's (Hannah) help for a couple of changes in the pieces I ended up printing it!
It's a trap! Yes, I've been working on my Admiral Ackbar impressions again! Here is something for those of you nerds out there. You'll know what it is when you see it, hopefully. If not then go and watch some star wars and figure out which character has this.
So I'm taking a class this semester that is helping me to learn Maya. This is the first time using this software and this was the prop that I did for it. I'm not going to lie this software is pretty difficult and some of the times I wanted to hurt it. Like a judo chop or karate kick or something asian like that. But here it is. And for those of you who know maya... well my geometries are terrible.
So here is a post for all of you. Please let me know if the values are still too dark to see because my monitor and other monitors are totally different when it comes to the values of images. So here is a monkey that has been experimented on.
I saw this image on another computer monitor and man you the values were all messed up. Time to lighten it so other could see it better! Even though some of the values are now going to be off... I hope it's better!
I recently looked at my blog and thought to myself. "man there is a lot of crappy unfinished art on this blog..." So I decided it's time to get rid of some of the recently crap-o-logs and get a new resolution of putting things up that are more refined! Here is something a little more professional for those of you all who actually check on my blog still.
A some what run down cave city that was once cool place to be and you can imagine what those travelers are doing!
